Doesn't this question get asked 10 times a day as it is? How about asking something a little more unique? Same for other very generic questions posted here, such as favorite line, etc.

Doesn't this question get asked 10 times a day as it is? How about asking something a little more unique? Same for other very generic questions posted here, such as favorite line, etc
Also, the question I asked regarding favorite movies was about a specific trilogy of films.

YES!!!!!! thank you! i think this all the time, ia m so glad i am not the only one that is getting just a little sick of this question. just look at other pple's questions if you really want to know!

Well, think about it: It's a great little gamble of trying to get best answer. Keep telling them what it is until someone goes: "yeah, that's my favorite, too!" and gives you best answer. It's just conversational fluff.
btw: the only reason the question bothers me is because I don't know the answer. I usually say Harold and Maude. You can't really argue with that one.

Lighten up! Many memories are tied to movies. The idea is to surface memories of personal experience and relive those magic moments. Sure it seems redundant at times but the end justifys the means. If this boars you then click to 1 of 1000's of other venues available in this forum.

It's an easy way to get two points. Just copy and paste the same answer on five of the same question and that equals a best answer. No effort needed.
