When the Ducks are on their game, NOBODY looks better. Their only problem is they can't seem to get up for "bad" teams. Hopefully they will get past that when playoffs come around. I am a Selanne fanatic, but do have to say that in playoffs he's not their best player. But watch out for that second line of Penner (6'5", 245), Getzlaf (6'4", 230) and Perry (6'3", 225). Penner is a rookie and is HUGE, but he also can skate. The other two are second year guys and neither of these guys is just a big goon. They have talent. PP...Ducks sometimes have Pronger and Neidermeyer at the points, and Getzlaf, Penner and Selanne. THAT combo ROCKS!!!

Gotta love all the hardcore Sabre fans who claim to be diehard. Where were you when the building was half empty from 2001-2004 when you were consistently out of the playoffs?

If all the teams played to the best of their ability-San Jose would be the best team. The Ducks are good-no doubt. But neither Pronger or Neidermeir has been that good this year. The ducks defense is weak after those two and the forwards are not much better after the first two lines. There are no bad teams in the playoffs-so the ducks cant hide behind all the OT points they have been earning. Nashville, Detroit, Vancouver, and San Jose have better team than the ducks in the west. The ducks had a great start to the season-but have been really bad the last two months-under 500. Sabres are OK bet for the east-but don't rule out New Jersey or the last playoffs in Pittsburgh. If you are a ducks fan-buy tickets to their games! They are going to leave Anaheim if there is no support. They have been giving away tickets to make it seem like they are selling out-but they are not even selling 12000 tickets a game and have less than 8000 season ticket holders.

I dont think Anaheim has enough experience to go deep into the post season. Too many young stars that are doing good now but lets see if they can raise up when the time comes. If they make it out of round two I'll be shocked. With the addition of Foresberg I'd say Nashville looks the best in the west. Everyone has been over looking them all season and they've quietly taken the top stop with very little respect or recognition for any American sports news outlets. The Sharks looked to out of it until the last two games when their Nabakov found his A game.

As far as the East, Buffalo Sabers might as well be Buffalo Bills - they dont know how to finish!!! You can never say Jersey isn't a top contender but Atlanta seems to have the most balanced attack with good size and lots of speed.

The 9 spots in both conferences, Boston and Colorado, have been on a tear lately. Can we see two #8 seeds in the finals again?

Hahahah, HI CLAIRE! :) I think the Ducks are in strong position in the West, but I'm still going for the Preds. In the East, sure, the Sabres are a safe bet.

"I think Calgary will take the Ducks. Calgary is the favourite this year. Go Flames Go!!!"

Sorry NewGrandma but the Flames can't beat the Ducks in the finals because both teams are in the West.

I'm going with my Devils over Preds!!!!

Yay someone finally picked the same two teams as me.

My guess is the Ducks could take the Sabres and win it.

Sabree s all the way! look at them rite now: we got 7 or 8 guys out, we've won 4 out of our last five games, all of our guys that we called up are on fire, our veretans have all kicked it up, and we have just been truly amazing.
