Marion Barber is a better runner than Julius Jones, no doubt, however, the problem is Marion Barber just isn't an every down back. I think the Cowboys are doing the right thing by starting Jones and using Barber for goal line and third down situations.

I don't think it's really going to matter with BIG Lenoard Davis knocking heads together. Gee now that Bill Parcels is gone, maybe the Boys can get some of their players back like La' Rio Glover, Larry Allen, Dexter Coakley, and K. Johnson, and maybe even Emmit Smith will come out of retirement. Anyways, Marion Barber III is a much better and more durable back than Julius Jones. Julius can start as long as the Boys can maintain a lead and once that lead has been established Barber should come in and win the game. However, if the Boys can't put any points on the board, Barber should definately be the starter. Someone is going to offer Barber a nice contract when his time comes around.

I think they plan on still using both, but beginning next season I would look for Barber to start getting more carries.
I had Julius Jones last season in a fantasy league. I wasn't very happy with the amount of times Barber would come in when the Cowboys got near the goal line.

Yes Julious Jones isnt consistent enouph to be the 1. Marion Barber the 3rd is a hard nosed get in your face downhill runner and would be a good nuber 1 for any team. plus hes from the MInnesota Golden Gophers.

NO, the system of utilizing two backs is proving worthwhile to a number of teams (DEN, NE, NO, etc) Jones is your everydown back that can break away from defenders with speed and catch the ball out of the backfield while Barber is the Bruiser that they use in short yardage and goal-line situations. you can't put Barber as number one without wearing him down and thus becoming less effective in the pressure moments later in the game like 1st and Goal. Both backs are young and capable of starting but neither appears to be a pro-bowl like star that will demand huge money.
