people always say we wear too much make up but its just for work we are trained to wear it in an over exaggerated way and i agree some of the staff can be a bit up their own ****.

i am an employee as well, i feel some do think they are on a higher chair than others because they're caught up in a image of being glamourous & celebrity like & some are just regular people who anyone can relate to. there is no way to classify everyone by a certain locations employees or by a certain employee period.

there are employees that are down to earth & won't bug the hell out of you & suggest every product under the sun to get the largest sale.

I've purchased a lot of MAC products at different stores around the country (I travel a lot) and I think they're great. If I ask for help or opinions they are very friendly and answer my questions. If I know what I want and just ask for specific products, they don't try to push other stuff on me. As far as I'm concerned, it's great, I don't like to be "sold to."

They're usually smartly dressed in black and quite helpful. I don't find them rushing over to serve me but when I do ask them for help they are very good. I get confused sometimes between the lipglass and all the other lip-somethings and they are very good at explaining it. They are the best products on the market so they don't really need to sell the stuff, the people just come to them.

I like the ones who genuinely enjoy what they do and do it well. I've met many who are great & have a lot of fun doing make up, and i've met others who i wonder how in the hell they got hired in the first place. Sometimes i do think they wear a little too much make up though. Its not necessary.

Ha,the first time i walked to a MAC stand at Selfridges,i thought i was at a fashion show. For one the two guys i met there were definitely "size 0".LOL.I thought it was a requirement to work there.
But the nice ladies who attended to my friend and i were actually plump, nice and good at their job, selling MAC products.

They are just regular girls who become local celebs just cause they work at MAC. Really they think they are so cute! I love looking at them cause they remind you of all the fashions out there!

sometimes they like to think that they're so much prettier than me and treat me like sh**, and i think that's pretty low. but i did have a pretty nice girl who showed me everything and complimented me alot. so maybe it depends just who works there.
