I have it myself. But here's some info I found on a website:

At the front of your eye, there is a curved window, known as the cornea. which is used to focus light. It is usually a smooth spherical shape, like a football. This smooth, round shape allows light to be focussed onto one single point on the retina. The retina is the light sensitive area at the back of your eye, like the film in a camera. If light is only focussed on one part of the retina, vision will be clear.

Astigmatism happens when the cornea is flattened, shaped more like a rugby ball than a football. Light is focussed on two points at the back of your eye, rather than just one. This is what causes your vision to become blurred.

What causes astigmatism?
Most children have astigmatism by chance. There may be no history of it in your family or you may not have any other eye condition that could cause astigmatism.

However, in some cases, astigmatism may have been passed on through the family. Astigmatism is also sometimes seen in people who have other eye conditions such as retinitis pigmentosa, albinism, cataracts or nystagmus. (links to Sort It info on nystagmus, albinism and cataract). A condition called keratoconus can also cause astigmatism. This is where the shape of the cornea may change as you get older.

An injury to the eye may also cause astigmatism.

What are the effects of astigmatism?

If you have only a small amount of astigmatism, you may not notice it at all or you may only have slightly blurred vision.

You may find that you have to work harder in order to see well, for example, you may struggle to read the blackboard or have to hold textbooks closer to you. This could lead to eyestrain, tiredness or headaches. Using magnifiers can help.

You may develop a 'lazy eye'. This is where your vision is less developed in one eye than the other. Wearing glasses can help prevent this.

How is astigmatism treated?
Wearing glasses or contact lenses can make your vision clearer. How well you can see will also depend on whether you have any other eye conditions.

Laser surgery can be used to treat astigmatism. It works by altering the shape of the cornea so light can be focussed onto the back of the eye. However, this surgery can only be performed when you are an adult. Levels of astigmatism can change and may improve as you get older. Even then, laser treatment as an adult is not always possible and can be risky.

It is worth knowing that astigmatism is one of the most common eye conditions. In fact, nearly everyone has it in some form so it is not unusual. It may be so mild that it causes no symptoms.

Astigmatism is an abnormal condition of the eye in which the light rays cannot be focused clearly in a point on the retina because the spheric curve of the cornea or the lens is not equal in all meridians. The eye is unable to accomodate to correct it.

The good news is that's it correctable with contacts or glasses.

You can improve your eyesight by simply learning, naturally and practicing the correct way to see for a few small minutes a day.
You can check this method based on a scientific researches :

if glasses are worn continuously over time the poor vision will generally become worse. Essentially what glasses do is lock the eyes into their refractive state and in order to see through your lenses you have to maintain the poor vision that the lenses are designed to correct.
"Restore my vision” program you'll be taken by the hand, it shows you how to improve your vision naturally, permanent and complete solution.
Even the American Optometric Association has been forced to admit these things!
I'm sure that you will not regret your decision

It's a diagnosis similar to being far sighted or near sighted. If I remember correctly it means the outter shell of your eye is shaped more like a football than a baseball. It's easlily corrected with glasses or special contact lenses. However, I suggest sticking with glasses, as contact swirl around on the eye it can disrupt clarity. It bascially means that everything you look at is blurred a little, no matter the distance.

It's a curvature of the eye, such that nothing is in correct focus. In contract for farsighted or nearsighted, where the lack of focus is based on distance.

That said, close-up things may appear to be in better focus that far away.

It's easy to remedy with glasses or, in recent years, special (soft) contact lenses.

Most people believe that once they are diagnosed with some vision problem and start wearing eye glasses or contact lenses to correct them, they will have to do so for life in order to see better. Those who want a permanent solution to improve eyesight typically resort to Lasik or other corrective eye surgeries. But you you can also improve your vision without surgery and can see perfectly well without using eyeglasses or contact lenses. You can check here to know how https://tr.im/73ed3

It's when the cornea of your eye is shaped like a football instead of a circle.

it is an error of refraction of the eye in which parallel rays don't form a point of focus on the retina instead the eye produce an image with multiple focal points or lines and so you can't see objects clearly instead you see them with shadows and unclear edges it is easily corrected with eye glasses
