There is a distinction that needs to be made here--about 15-20% of Israelis are Muslim, but not all of those 20% choose to identify as Israeli.

Sources differ, but between 15% and 20% of Israeli citizens are Arabs, which I will assume is an exclusively Muslim group. The total population of Israel is 7.1 million, so the Muslims would number between 1.07 and 1.42 million.
