Less than
<3 means less than 3
>3 means greater than 3
(can't figure it out on my computer, but if there is a line under the same symbol it means "less than or equal to")

<3, means 'less than 3".
Or < 3 is supposed to symbolize a heart.

It means "love". Look at it sideways-it looks like a heart-a cruddy heart, but a heart nonetheless. Or you can do it this way "&, hearts, ;" the "and" symbol, the word "hearts" and a semicolon all together without any spaces. It makes an actual heart. â¥
