Ive got a 3 year old that is in a 24 month waist and a 4T length...hes a scrawny little thing! I was wondering if the adjustable waistband jeans are worth the price? Any input is great.

Yes! I have a 3 year-old little cousin that I buy clothes for--she's long and skinny. She sounds like your son's size--she wears a 4T length, but she can fit into her little sister's 18-24 mo pants (except they look like capris). :) I always get her either elastic or adjustable waistbands, and they work great. Easy to use, and the fit is perfect. Plus, I've never seen any that cost more than regular waistbands. I buy a lot of stuff at Gymboree on sale, and pretty much all of their pants/shorts for that age have adjustable waistbands. They adjust a lot--several inches--I wish they had been around when I was a kid!

Yes they are great, my daughter is 4, she is so petite but tall that no jeans will fit her unless they have the adjustable waistband.
If it's possible for you to go to Old Navy or even Children's Place, they have some, Old Navy is a lot cheaper. In fact I went shopping last week and almost all their pants have adjustable waist. And they really have cute clothes too. I really like them! I am now pregnant and I'm thinking that they should do the same for adults. lol

I have found that they are worth it. My daughter (who is 5 years old) has the same problem. In fact I occasional catcher her digging out her old 2T jeans (they look like capris on her) and she can get them up and buttoned.
I swear she eats like a moose and she can't gain weight.
Go for it by the jeans with adjustable waist.

YES, they work great, you can get them at walmart and target without paying big money, My 5 yr old boy is small but tall so we have to buy bigger pants for his height and I need the adjustable cause he has a small waist and they help out..
Best thing they have done.

yes they are for me they have always been. my son is 6 and wears a 6 slim with the adjustable waist and it helps keep his pants up better than a belt.

I think they are great,I need them for my daughter,she's just like you described your child.They really aren't that expensive though,and you could find them just about anywhere now,Walmart Kmart Old Navy,they are the same in price as any other pants!!
