My last violation just said I had violated the Community Guidelines. It did not specify which one I alledgely violated. I find that really annoying. If I get a violation, I want to know specifically what I supposedly violated!

Forward the notice to y_answrs_team@yahoo.com and ask for a specific reason. Then forward your notice to them again and contest the violation; ask to have your question/answer reposted and your points given back.

Really annoying! Especially when you've poured your heart out on your answer and are shocked that to get a violation notice! If I feel it was wrong I question the violation and ask why.

I have been violated. It didn't really bother me all that much because I did technically answer a question in a ways that is against "the rules". I can see how people who are randomly violated would be very upset. That would be extremely unfair and upsetting.

Could be for an e-mail they didn't like and yes you can get them if you use the e-mail by their avatar. I know I did not violate me and I know my husband [real one] did not do it so that leaves yahoo. They sucked up 40 points !

This just happened to me too. My question was removed even though it wasn't offensive at all. I just protested the fact that ppl were chain-mailing this silly poem around instead of asking real questions! I don't get it and stuff like this makes me not want to come to YA anymore.

They always tell me what I did wrong. Even though I don't agree with them half the time.
