yes because your body burns a lot of calories to produce the milk, therefore you can lose weight!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

You burn an extra 500+ calories a day breast feeding, that's like an hour on the eliptical or more. You will also be more hungry because of all the energy it takes to produce the milk. More importantly, it's super healthy for your baby. The first year is when their brains are developing the most and need it.

I lost 20 pounds easily and kept it off. It was great - I noticied the weight dropping of the first few months. I nursed for 20 months and didn't lose anything later.

Yes it is totally possible. The main reason why you gain weight when you are pregnant, especially in the thigh area, is because that is where the nutrients for the breast milk is stored. When you nurse, those nutrients go into your milk, out of you and into your baby, so there for the baby gets fatter and you get thinner. i gained 17lbs in my pregnancy with my daughter, she was 8lbs when she was born and i lost 45lbs in a few months from nursing.

20 cal an ounce to make the milk and 20 cal pre ounce in the milk. So if you pump 6 ounces in 10 min, thats 240 cal. Not a bad workout.
