i need some articles about the future of the stock market. where can i find them online? so far i haven't had any luck on yahoo finance or cnn money. maybe i'm just not looking good enough or not doing it right. does anyone have links or something they could share?

It's impossible to know the future of the stock market. People have opinions as to what will happen. Few ever predict a crash or bull market until it's happened so you could say there's a bit of luck involved in such a prediction.

Stock futures may be interesting to you. Google "S & P futures" to find many informative links. S & P futures often signal the stock market's response.

As to predictions, be careful. Financial "pundits" like to stay positive, even before a crash. Positive comments can keep the markets up even when things are not so good. Most that lost a lot in the crashes, had their money in risky investments that were paying returns way beyond the norm-50% a year-so it's no surprise those were the very ones that declined the most. There were mutual funds that weathered the bad times just fine-but who chooses an 8% return when you can have 50%?
