the price of steel will vary depending upon what structural shape you are buying. W shapes, channels, angle iron, tube, pipe, etc all sell for a different price. the price could range from 30 to 60 cents a pound depending upon the shape.

I assime you mean selling scrap steel. If you have I beams and angle iron, you get $6 per 100 lb, if it is mixed steel, they will take it as tin and it is only $5.75 per 100 lb.

These prices are for an individual bringing scrap in, I know someone with a comercial account and they get about 15 % more.

I think prices are pretty much the same there, these prices are in GA
