if you see any scaffolders working in your area ask them to sell you a standard then you will get a good strong pole and cut it to any length you want

I don't have an answer but the question got my attention. A 4 meter tall clothes line pole (That's over 13 feet) Are you hanging your clothes out of the upstairs window or balcony?? Curious...

Go to a scaffold erector and buy one off them, they are not too dear.
