So say you went on a rollercoaster that takes 3 years off your life expectancy, but you were gonna die in a car crash the next day, since the ride took the years off, would the same thing have happened in 3 years, or would the life expectancy take off normal years like if you were gonna be 80, you were gonna be 77?

eh, if you believe in fate then you were bound to die the next day anyway, regardless of the rollercoster. but if not, it doesn't matter. Life expectancy is how long you should live a natural life. getting hit by a car isn't part of your life expectancy. So if the car missed, it wouldn't be the case that you would get hit three years later if you hadn't gone on the rollercoster, unless of course it was simply a matter that it did happen, in which case you're very unlucky. Or you could think ahead and say, if i get on this rollercoster it could significantly lower my life expectancy, and then not go on it and result in getting hit by a car immediately because you were supposed to be on the rollercoster instead of crossing the road doubting the fact that you shouldn't have left that line for the rollercoster.

Since it's your -life-expectancy-, all that would happen is that you'd ride the coaster and go weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! and die the next day in the car crash. Now if the rollercoaster took 3 years off your -life-, you'd die once you stepped in the rollercoaster.

Solution: ride the roller coaster backwards a few hundred times and avoid cars for the next 48 hrs. Like, camp in the deep woods.

Just how much time did you spend pondering this question? I suggest that next time you make it easier on yourself and ponder something simpler like, which came first, the chicken or the egg?
