I havent had sex nor been on birth control in 2 years.. Saterday night I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend who has been away for 3 years (also with no sex). Sunday morning when i woke up and picked up my daughter blood started running down my leg. im bleeding alittle but not alot.. My periods have never been regular so i didnt know if i could possibly be pregnant now.... Is it possible to get pregnant the night before your period starts?

It's possible to get pregnant right before your period, but normal ovulation would be a week to 1.5 weeks before your period. If you period is normal, then I wouldn't be concerned. If it's really bothering and you have to know for sure, take a home Pregnancy test.

Technically it's not impossible, but it's HIGHLY unlikely. Heck, you can technically even get pregnant while you're on your period, but once again, VERY rare. So I wouldn't think too much about the unprotected sex, although if you're not pregnant, and you're not trying to get pregnant, you should get on birth control. After all, there's no safe time for sex w/o birth control.

It is never impossible to get pregnant any time. God works in mysterious ways. Though it sounds like you are saying you had sex just days before this bleeding and I doubt you are pregnant. It is possibly your normal period. but when in doubt talk to your doc. You can never do wrong in asking a question. Unless you are having horrible cramping and bleeding they will probably wait till your bleeding has subsided before examining you. it is very hard to tell what is going on when you are bleeding. I hope you get your answers soon.
