None of the teams in the west want to face the Lakers in the first round. The Lakers are more than capable of advancing. Now the second round might be a different story...

Well, if they playoffs ended today, it would leave the Lakers facing the Jazz. If there's any chance for the Lakers to win a round it would be against the Jazz because after that, it would mean the powerhouse teams like the Mavericks, Suns, and Spurs. With those teams, I don't think the Lakers are quite deep enough to contend with them. As far as Houston...with Yao Ming back, he will dominate the middle causing problems for the Lakers. Kobe can take over the game, but T-Mac can match him point for point.

Huh? i assumed they have been nonetheless taking part in? (nicely in l. a. they nonetheless are) whether it type of feels the Lakers will take this one for particular. (up 9 with 50 secs left.) ok it in simple terms ended. The Lakers performed stable ball, no longer super, they did omit some stable possibilities. Farmar replaced into remarkable as replaced into Ariza. The Rockets by skill of the final numerous seconds have been in simple terms giving it away to the Lakers. i'm particular they have been disillusioned with their overall performance. taking photos is the significant and that they enormously plenty introduced. I predicted the Lakers could take this one, because of the fact I knew they could turn it up. Yeah that flagrant against Artest wasn't a sturdy call. relating to the only call interior the great interest i did no longer like. Even Kobe stated it wasn't a sturdy call.

I think the best shot the Lakers have is if they face Houston or Utah. Even though on paper, both teams outmatch the Lakers, Los Angelas has had surprising success against both of those teams, especially Utah.
Which is ironic considering Utah is 10-2 against Dallas, Phoenix, San Antonio and Denver.

Lol of course. The rockets are the biggest chokers in the league. Remember they coughed up a 2-0 lead to the mavs (winning both of them at DALLAS!!!!)...they can get a win or two here but they'll definitely won't get by the lakers.
The Lakers will make the semis, but with all the injuries and the inexperiece I don't see them going very far. There's only so much one man can do.

No and no. Lakers suck and Kobe's a dirty player. Did everyone see last night when he threw an elbow just because someone came close to blocking his shot. Last time, when he did that and elbowed Ginobili in the nose, he got suspended for one game. I say make it 10 games this time. He's an arrogant arshole and he should be in jail for being a rapist anyway. They can't and won't beat the Rockets. They don't have anyone down low that can gaurd Yao, and T-Mac is gonna tear them a new one.
Oh yeah, did I say Lakers SUCK!!!

If the Lakers is equal to Kobe then they won't even be in the play-offs. They got some young talented guys and it is time they start using them instead of relying on that old selfish snake.
