Get a second opinion. My daughter was on the depo and after being off of it for a while she was able to conceive again. She now has a wonderful 3 year old daughter. I also know of another lady who was told that she could not have children because she had used the depo. She and her husband tried for 8 years and was set to adopt a baby girl from China when 9-11 happened and the borders were closed. They did not get their little girl but she found out soon after wards that she was pregnant. She now has a wonderful little boy and another on the way. It can make it more difficult to conceive but in time your body may be able to have a child. Go to another doctor and see what can be done. Do not continue to go to any doctor who has given up. They will be of no help to you.

Good Luck.

My mom was on the depo for a very long time and ended up hommoraging from it two times. She almost didn't make it. After that she had a baby. I would get a different opinion because if it made you so you cannot have children then why are so many girls and women taking it. They would have taken it off of the market. I am not a doctor but I am sure that you can still have children and if not it's probably not from the depo. Definetly get a different doctor. Good Luck

who were you told this by, if even by a doc, I would get second opinion. That type of reaction (from depo alone) I question.

I don't know what sort of wacko doctor would tell you this. This isn't a bit true. I'd see someone else to ease your worries.

Yes, you can still have children. Just have faith, dear child, for your prayers can be answered to those that are faithful.
