It looks a little like an hour glass, sort of larger on both ends than in the middle. Have you never seen a map of Israel??!!

From what I've seen if Israel it looks like nothing you would expect, its more like a city of America with its sky scraper buildings, it looks nothing like you would expect a country in the holy lands to look like.

i was in isreal in the mid 80's...a beautiful place...kinda sandy...lovely beaches and resorts...i was not a tourist...i was us army and spent alot of time there...great folks as well
