my friend claims she is. Is there a name for these phobias? is it real? do other people have it?

Thats so ignorant, Im soo short, but not a midget, but people call me one. So its racist to be scared of asian/black people, but its more commonly socially accepted to be scared of midgets or albino's? Albino's are white, is it racist to insult there skin tone? If this is true, we're all screwed.

Fear of midgets is pretty common.
During Halloween, I work at the largest haunted house in the state of Louisiana. We have two guys who work there, both dwarfs, who dressed up as evil clowns last year. If just being scared of midgets doesn't get you, the clowns will. I felt bad for those customers who are scared of midgets AND clowns, although, watching people run from them was still a highlight.
As for the other, I have never heard of anyone who has a fear of albinos.

Its called nanuphobia and I have an extreme case of it. If I see a midget anywhere I take off like a bat out of hell. They scare the living daylights out of me. I know its wrong but I cant help it. I know other people that have this. Its very common.

Children of the Corn about did me in for Albinos, but no..... it sounds more like she is uncomfortable with how to act around different people. Is she like this with people in wheelchairs or other disabilities??? This sounds childish and rude.

I think albinos have a sort of elegance to them.
Not sure why people would be scared.

I don't know what the fear of albinos is called.

As weird as it may be, you can have a fear for anything because most fears are derived by association. A phobia is any irrational fear.
