I have had mine done for about a month and I am 35 weeks, I also have all of her clothes washed and hung, every toy ready to go with batteries and back ups, swings, bouncers car seats, strollers all set up and ready to use, my bag is packed and I am ready to go LOL.
Obviously, this is my first and I am way excited, and I am a chronic planner, hee hee, I bet a baby is really going to screw that up for me.
On the bright side, when she does come at least everything I thought of will be out of the way and I won't struggle with the little stuff, hopefully.

I'm 34.5 weeks and i am going to do that this weekend, at least wash all the clothes, and put them away, then I'm gonna put up the crib, i do wish that i did it sooner, because now my poor feet look like paddles....i cant be on them for too long because it hurts, i should have done this about 3 weeks ago!!! lol... I'm sure u are just as anxious as me, but id wait until the baby shower so that u can organize EVERYTHING at once!! & not have to back track!
good luck & congrats!!!!

I had all intentions of putting my nursery together around 5-6 monthes but I also wanted to wait for alot of the stuff from my shower. When the shower finally came I put most of the things in there but was waiting for my husband to finish. Well lets just say that the night my daughter was born my husband went home after to finish putting the nursery together.

The plan was for it be done about a month early. But my husband wound up getting deployed, so at 36 weeks, I was standing on ladders painting the baby's room! LOL If there's no indication of problems, a month should be fine. But if you're done before then, you just get to enjoy the room and go on to nesting the rest of the house.

well, im sort of doing mine at the mo. Only problem is partner is a guitar teacher and uses the room for practicing and teaching so although stuff is in there, I can't really put it all up yet. I figured the baby will be with me for a few months anywaya and by the time shes ready to go in her own room, when shes around 3 months old, ill have kicked him out of the room.

i am just now almost finished with mine and im 35 weeks, bf put the baby bed together and im decorating and organizing all the stuff i got from my baby shower and clothes and stuff... 22 weeks is sort of early but my advice is that you should just continue doing it because i am starting to get swelling in my ankles and cant stay on my feet for very long so continue doing it while youre still feeling well.

My husband and I started cleaning out the guest room and looking for thing when we learned we where pg. And started decorating when we found out what we were having. My husband couldn't wait to start putting things together. I was sick with morning sickness all the time so I was not that into it. As long as you have a place for the baby to sleep when you bring it home I think you are good.

For me, I had is partially started about 25 weeks. What helped what I completed it right after my baby shower 3 weeks ago. I figure if you have time, you might as well work on it now before you are unable because you are miserable. I think your timinig is great. GOOD LUCK!

I still haven't set up the nursery in our house yet - and I'm at week 34! My shower is in a couple weeks so I wanted to wait until after that to get everything all set up. You are ambitious girl!

Old folks say don't set up nursery til 7 or 8 month. They say it's bad luck. If you aren't superstitious, set it up whenever you want. I suggest waiting til you find out the sex of the baby. Makes it easier to know which way to go with decorating. I'm mom to 3.
