expensive, he is a Marine from the war in IRAQ and i feel that all that stress is contributed to his lack of motality, so my question to all of you... Do you think its fair that Soldiers, coming back from IRAQ are ready to start a family, all to find out that the war caused them not to be able too?

Infertility can be caused by many factors, including stress. I don't necessarily believe that the war has caused this, unless of course, his absence from home is the primary reason. :) However, I do think it is horrible that our military families are not given the medical funding needed to work through this or the funding assistance to defray adoption expenses.

Infertility should be covered by insurance, especially for our military personnel who risk their lives for future generations!

Good luck to your family. They are not alone.

Give my best to your family. Sorry to hear about the conception problem. I feel all of our soldiers deserve to come home and be able to live a normal life. BUT, what I have heard that has happened over there they should all have some kind of counseling before deciding to start a family. It is really horrible this has happened to so many of our soldiers. No I dont think it is fair at all. I wish them both the best..

You're making a huge assumption then adding a liberally biased comment... not fair.

99.99% of all soldiers, airmen and marines never have a problem with starting families upon their return from Iraq so your hypothesis is asinine.

If it were simply motility issues, IVF would not be the only option.

If it were stress that caused decreased motility then when the stress were removed the motility would be corrected. The human male makes millions of sperm cells per day. And, there have been no scientific studies that link stress to sperm motility.

You should be ashamed that you are willing to use your sisters families inability to conceive to further a liberal propaganda base.

Why don't they think about adopting an Iraqi orphan? That would make a tremendous difference in the life of that child.

The cause of the non-pregnancy is not from the war. It is biological and only faith in God can cause pregnancy to happen. Faith is the answer, for it is the evidence of things unseen.
