british humour is hilarious. the hardest i laughed in my life was at a thomas hardy story, who technically was irish.

american humor is funny too, though there's really no cohesive american humor.

so in short - big ups to both american and british humor

I think that British humor is the best -- I don't know why I just think its great -- I don't think they're merging that much because A lot of americans don't really get British humor that much at least most of the people I know -- they either think it isn't funny or they really don't understand it. And I don't hear many americans talking with british lingo like ever. I don't think they ever hear it -- its hardly in movies and our friends and family don't use it at all. Sorry if this is too negative to your thoughts.

I personally find Americans more funny although I am British. I think Britons have nore of a dry humour but I prefer rolling on the floor with laughter at the Parkers, My Wife n Kids etc

to an American: the British humour looks dull & slow.
For Brits: The American Humour sometimes is seen as stupid & childish.
