They only cut what you buy from them. And then only in small quantities. Find some guts and learn how to safely use your tools. Then you can amaze yourself and your friends with all the projects you can do.

They can cut Lumber and Plywood type stuff. In your case I would check the Phone Book or ask around for a Saw Mill. They would have the cutting equipment to cut the Log Length ways. Anyone with a chainsaw can cut it half from side.

They will usually only cut things that they sell to you. For example, if you buy a sheet of their plywood, they'll do the first cut for free, then maybe charge a small fee for subsequent cuts. But I don't think they'll cut wood that wasn't sold in their store. Surely, someone you know has a powered saw?

Did you buy it there? If yes, I think they will. If not, they may do it if they're in a good mood. Don't you have any family/friends with a chain saw? Look in the paper for a handy man; he'll do it for a small fee.

In my experience they only cut the wood if you buy it from them, but they will rent a power saw to you.

They will only cut wood you purchase from them. You can however rent a chain saw from some of their stores.
