Ive been with my botfriend for 2 years and known him for 3.Last March he said that he was going to ask me to marry him and still hasnt.We get on really well, hardly fight and if we do it is over the smallest of things. I love him very much and i know he loves me but im 31 and time feels like it is running out,He says it will happen and i know he wouldnt lie, but is he trying to put it off? He has been hurt before in the past so would that be to do with it?

It has been two years and he still hasn't asked you to marry him and you are sitting around wondering if he wants to marry you?? It is probably a safe bet that you are sleeping with him, right? Why would he want to marry you-you've already given yourself to him and there is nothing in it for him! Put him on the spot. Take him out to dinner and say-this is it-you either want to marry me or you don't and if you don't let me go and find the man who does want to make an honest woman and mother out of me. Then when you are relationship hunting the next time-don't sleep with him-save something for marriage, for both of you, something special! Give him a reason to respect you and make you his wife.

He may be scared to take that leap, just give it time or if you do not think that it will ever come maybe it is time to reevaluate your relationship. My fiance and I were engaged before and in my heart I knew it just wasn't right yet. He has now since grown up and stopped doing some wrong things he was before,,,,,now it is time for us to get married. Time is everything!!

i think he is flirting with you still, since it's been a year and he hasn't proposed u yet. u should better find some other guy to marry with since time is spending and u r 31.
