Is there any way i can lower my maximum bid on ebay?
I have accidently made my maximum bid £3800.00 instead of £38.00.

You can retract your bid, giving the reason on the form as you put it in wrong ( words that mean the same!!). Don't freak out, just calm down and find out how to retract a bid. i have done this myself, and it is really easy to put right.

You need to cancel bit totally, sorry I can't remember exactly what button you press but it is there. Something along the lines of cancel offer and you have to put in a reason then you can bid again.

They should have instructions for how to retract a bid - you have to email an explaination to Ebay, basically, and if you have a good reason (you do), they wiill let you retract the bid or, I think, change it.

Follow peekay's instructions, they are spot on. I spent ages trawling ebays site once to retract one of my bids. Wish I had known about yahoo then, would have saved me some time.

You need to retract the bid!! And email the seller to tell them why you are retracting the bid!!

You can retract your bid! But they don't like it if you make a habit out of it!! I've done it twice! Oops!

Im not sure that you can retract your bid, but you can send the seller an email and explain the situation and they may be able to take it off themselves.

you have to go into ur account where you bid on the idem and retract your bid.
