I was raised in the garment industry. Look up in yellow pages wholesale industries for women wear. Ask if they open to public and tell them what you are looking for.
You will get what you want and save money. My counsin purchased her gown and it cost only $100.00.

I've always loved the formal wear section of Macy's so I would try there. They have lots of variety, and a large price range.
