Though we want to boost morale and the staff knows that is an initiative for us, it just seems stuffy and obvious by calling it the Morale Team. I need something catchy and creative. I work for a plumbing company....

With all due respect I think this "morale team" idea is straight out of the David Brent School of Management. I prefer the quality circle idea where people meet regularly to discuss nagging issues that interfere with the smooth running of the office. Usually quality circles involve people from different departments who have a close working relationship where the performance of one department directly impacts on the others.
It's not dealing with the nagging issues that causes low morale in the first place so maybe a quality circle will do the trick. When people have obstacles removed that stop them doing their jobs properly and then recieve good rewards for the work they do you get good team morale.

Or just call it the...Drain Storming Team.

How about the RTM team - Results Through Motivation. I have to tell you though that this is a very transparent idea that you have and it may become a real joke if not done right.
