let the first term be a
sum of p terms= 2a +(p-1)d=q ----------1
sum of q terms = 2a+(q-1)d = p ----------2
sum of p+q terms = 2a + (p+q -1)d -------------3
substract 2 from 1 and solve for d
d= -1
putting valude of d = -1 in eqn1 and 2
2a - (p-1)= p
2a -(q-1) + q
get values of a and d and plug in eqn 3
and u get the answer.
