I tend to over-tip. It must be from all the years I spent in the service industry.

I generally tip at least 20%, but if they're absolutely terrible, I do two things:

a) vow never to return, because...
b) on the line that reads "tip" I write Be Better!

That's their tip -- be better. But they REALLY have to screw up. I'm usually very patient.

My husband and I are both good tippers... We always leave a $10 tip, at the average restaurant... If we go somewhere fancier, then we tip more...

I always tip very well. If the service is v good I tip more.

Good service then yes.
Bad service = low tip
horrible service = no tip

i am a waitress and i dont go off the bill because why would you tip someone 10 percent if they sucked? so i go off of how the service is if there really really nice and efficient i think they deserve a large tip!

yeah me too, proboly because i everyone i seem to date is in the resturant business. I go waiter ti watier, but i tend to tip like 20%

I tip when the service is good, but if its sucks, I don't leave anything.
