depends when you actually are looking at the blood. When blood first comes to the surface and is hit with air, it is a bright red. But it starts to change color fairly quickly, turning it darker and darker, until it is a sort of brown color with just the inferance that it was ever red. Watch two people fighting hard. Not the stuff that movies are made of, real life. The blood isn't that fingerpaint red, or bright red. Look at a street where a person was shot and all the blood wasn't washed away yet. You can still see the remnants. And they are brown.

Red, but if my mother punched your mother in the nose the color would be off white with some bubbles from what she just swollowed

I suppose you mean what color would YOUR mother's blood be, because my little 5' 2" pistol of a mom is a scrapper and she'd probably put yours in the hospital. I saw her take my cop dad to the ground on multiple occasions and as a kid, saw her hold a rifle on a drunken wife-beating neighbor. Growing up with her was interesting to say the least.
