Are the XMLHttpRequest and AcriveXObject Objects supported in VBS?

VBScript supports the XMLHTTPRequest object from IE 5 and onwards. That's a really terrible idea, though - one of the big selling points of Ajax is that it works in all the major browsers. VBScript doesn't work in any browser except IE.

You should be able to but VB Script isn't supported in most browsers besides Microsoft and they have abandoned vb script Active X Objects are supported and there is some way to do XML HttpRequest I would just go with JScript because unless it's going to be a company with a same config of equipment your going to run into so many problems with using VB Script over J Script

I don't think so, because it is not cross platform script.
