How much would it shrink?

Trousers that contain "stretchy" fibers do not shrink as much as 100% cotton ones do. If you are concerned about shrinking then wash the pants in warm water and hang them up to dry instead of putting them in the dryer. By avoiding the dryer, the pants will last a lot longer and you won't have to worry about shrinkage.

cotton pants usually shrink 1 to 2 inches in the length after washing and drying - so accomadate for that when buying new jeans.
