I am having a problem with a couple of websites. Whenever I try to open them, the web browser (IE 7) exits. This problem only happens with these websites while all the other websites open normally. What is the solution to this?

I'm not entirely sure, but I would reccommend using firefox. you can get it at www.getfirefox.com I use it all the time and I never have a problem with it. Also there are many other browsers out there like opera and so on.

Most likely these sites are trying to use some browser plugin or object whos base application is corrupted on your system....

what you can do is reinstall any toolbars that you have, Yahoo, google, ect....
reinstall macronmedia flash as well as your java runtime installation....

Navigate to your C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files folder and delete any browser add-ons....

after doing all that , restart the computer and try the page again....the page should try to reload the plugin and reinstall anymissing files....
good luck!!1

Did you check the eventlog?
Try browsing with FireFox on these websites and see if the situation persists.
