will we 'get right back where we started from,
Love is Good, Love can be strong
If we get right back where we . . started from. . oooh yeah
Shouldn't every American be grateful and Happy about our troops making such great progress considering the troop surge has 'only just begun. . . to live.. .. . .. . . . . . . .' ??

Newsflash to the NEEDY - Nearly EVERY network has been running stories on the progress . If you are completely unaware of this. . . then maybe you should COMPLETELY change your source for 'news' !!!!

Don't start confusing liberals with the truth... this is a quagmire remember? Its just not possible for anything that Bush does to go well, so the networks must be lying to us.
dude s: how many of those Iraqis are killed by U.S. forces. How can you possibly claim this is a war against the Iraqis?

It is indeed wonderful that after 4 years we are finally starting to get somewhere over there. One can but wonder what happens when we leave. Or is it going to be one of those situations like Germany or Japan where we maintain troops 50 years after the end of the war?

160 died, 120 died... blah blah that's all that liberals care about. There are more homicides in the US than that on a daily basis. How high do those numbers get if we are not there helping the people. This is not a civil war. This is a regional war. The Kurds are apart of the country yet are not fighting in this war, so how can this be called a civil war.The Kurds are also not losing their lives as they did under Saddam. We are on the right track with this troop surge. I think we need to surge more troops. I also think we need to let the Generals on the ground do their jobs, and get the politics out of this war. We are winning this war and Americans need to spread that message.

Well, it has probably backed down a lot because people realize that all the complaining isn't going to change anything. they probably also realized that Congress is going to have a harder time getting our soldiers out than they portrayed it to be. Plus the new strategy seems to be working for now, but this doesn't mean it will be easy, Iraq is still a dangerous country and it will be for years to come. The Iraqi government is only a year old, these things take time. Whether people like it or not, we will prevail, unless we get someone like Barrack Obama or Hillary Clinton as the next president, then everything we have done over there will be for nothing because they will pull our troops out. It's sad, but I guess that's the price our soldiers pay to protect the freedom of other countries along with ours.

Where's the progress?
The iraqi VP almost getting blown to smithereens with a bomb?
A female suicide bomber blowing up 50 students?
A coordinated suicide bombing killing 93 and wounding 150?
Going door-to-door in a city of over 6 million?
No water or electricity.........STILL?
That's in the last week. Some progress. Give some links for these networks claiming progress...or are you listening to Dubya, Cheney, Condi & Tony Snow a little too much??
get back to reality, dude. Iraq is getting worse by the day.

You obviously aren't watching a reliable news source.
9 GI's were blown up just yesterday, and the civil war has intensified.

Progress? You mean like the 120 pilgrims who were blown to bits yesterday?
I guess if bodycount equals progress then we must be doing a crackerjack job.
