I didn't even decorate the nursery. I guess I went more practical. The baby didn't even spend much time in his room for the first several months. He slept in his basinet in our room. He has no idea what is on the walls. So I just got some cute little wall hangings with cars and stuff and kept it simple. In a couple years when he has favorite colors and stuff like that, then we can decorate his room. No sense in spending tons of money now when he really doesn't care what is on his walls or what the sheets on his crib have on them. He spends most of his waking hours in the living room with us playing with his toys. And he is a very happy and healthy baby. Furthermore, visitors don't see his room either. They visit him in the living room, cuz that's where he is...

I also have found luck at fabric stores. Find a fabric you like and coordinate the nursery color scheme around it.
