I need to fill out an application, and I think it would look a lot neater if I typed it up, so I scanned it. The only problem is that the scanner puts the document into jpeg format, and I can't edit it. Is there any way I can convert the jpeg into a word document?

Thank you in advance for your help.

You should be able to place it into word then draw tables on top of the image into which you can type.

No. But check your scanner software program. It might include an OCR function (optional character recognition) which will scan the document in as text instead of a picture.

Not that I am aware of. Your best bet would be to save the scanned file as a PDF. I believe if you have the full version of Adobe you can then write in the fields of the scanned form.

this could be a around approximately way of doing it...yet once you hit Ctrl and 'Print demonstrate screen' you get a demonstrate screen shot. purely paste that demonstrate screen shot right into a image application and crop off the areas you do not choose. This technique is harder to describe than this is to certainly do it. good success nonetheless, and optimistically somebody else knows an much less stressful thank you to do it. :)
