Hi,

I’m looking for some sort of lock that can be fitted to a refrigerator. Are there any locks designed specifically for fridges?

Thanks.

Yes there are, I think mothercare sell them, we have one - not only does it keep the kids out, it also stops the very clever dog that used to be able to get in!!!

It depends on who you are locking out. We have a toddler that we have to lock out. We have put a bungee cord on it. We attached it from the back to the front handle. It works great!! We didnt use those safety locks because you have to lock it to the freezer also. But hes strong enough that it opens the fridge and the freezer. Its not a side by side fridge.

I am not sure what the lock is for but I used a bungie cord when my kids were young to keep them out. you hook the bungie cord to the back coil on the fridge and then pull it forward and put it on the handle the kids are not strong enough to get it off. if you are looking for a real childproof lock you can buy them in any baby section at a store. if you want a lock as in to keep everyone out try a pad lock

I bought one that is a little white plastic latch that one end sticks to the door & one end to the fridge's side. Then it has a little snap-in buckle. I put it on my freezer door to keep my rotten little cats out of it. It has been there about 3 years w/ no problems. It has withstood my teenager closing the loose end into the freezer repeatedly. I bought it at WalMart, but they don't carry them anymore. Try Lowe's or Home Depot or maybe Target (in the baby or hardware sections). The one below is similar, but not EXACTLY like the one I have:

Most diy stores have child safety locks in the security section, I know B&Q does. They have locks for fridges, freezers, cupboards, drawers, etc. So it's worth a look.

Hi you can buy fridge locks from Mothercare and Boots, they are easy to use. I would say you could probably get one from any baby shop, in the safety section.

I f you mean like a childproof lock- they sell them at most home improvement stores(home depot, lowes) . It is a locking device that is easy for adults, but difficult for children to remove. Hope this helps!

sure, they can LEGALLY lock the refrigerator. if you're growing to be breakfast and dinner a minimum of, and both nutrition are healthful and filling, then there is no longer something incorrect along with your project. as we talk, you are able to be focusing on getting through college so your quickly-to-be baby has an recommended mom who can protect them. best of luck to you.
