If this is possible, what all is involved in doing this and will it give me better power and/or fuel economy? Does anyone sell a kit to do the change over?

It's not that I don't think it could work, but I am thinking you'd have to replace so many things that it's not feasible. Wouldn't the onboard computers be different, and if so, that involves the wire harness that connects to it and other possible related fuel mixture and maybe even emissions crap, nevermind the entire intake manifold and fuel lines and injectors and the fuel distribution system, I dunno man, it just sounds like a lot of possible complications.

Meanwhile, fuel injection is fuel injection, that's your biggest upgrade right there, whether it's throttle body injection or multiport doesn't make that much of a difference.

If you want to get more power, try a high performance cap and rotor, some 8mm Accel high performance spark plug wires, and Autolite double platinum spark plugs (gap to .035), that would help a ton for under $150 with a lot less bs. Change the oil and filter, and using a synthetic oil would help a little, too.

You might ask some qualified mechanics for their opinion.

Why? It is cost prohibitive even if you could.
