Be glad for what you have. I had an outside job for many years and it's a rare day it's nice. I'm in Ontario, the winter is too cold, driving is horrible, summer is too hot, too windy, raining... If you work outside you need to wear safety equipment and/or heavy clothes. Your face gets weatherbeaten and wind-burned and sun-burned. It ages you. Best thing I ever did was get an inside job.

If you really want to be outside and work hard for a living, it can be done. You may find that part of the reason you love being out in nature so much is that just now, you can't - we always seem to want what we can't have.

There's always weekends.

I worked out side for years and it ain't all its cracked up to be there are very few days like today were the weather is nice its usually ether steaming hot raining or cold try working 10 hrs in Fla in mid august in 95 deg heat and you will change your mind I would consider suicide if I had to go back outside, after work and weekends are plenty of out side time for this hillbilly

Yes sadly those out door jobs are either hard labour jobs or low paying jobs and I suspect you wouldn't take lesser pay to take a outside job? Besides too much sun is still too much sun.

It is really cold here today, so I am glad to be inside. It is much more difficult to work indoors (looking out the window) during the summer.

I work in a hospital. It is just as well. I wouldn't want to be working outside in these single digit temps.
