If you use the refrigerant with stop leak make sure you tell the shop where you get it repaired that it has stop leak in the system. It clogs A/C machines when they evac. it. They could possibly charge you for cleaning their machine. It also doesn't really work all that well. If it has a leak somewhere you need to take it to a shop so they can put dye in and find it.

Check for an oily spot on any of the refrigerant lines & the compressor. Sometimes a leaking connection is easy to fix. May be nothing more than a bad valve core.

I've had great luck with all in one mixtures from Inter Dynamics. They are on the ball when it comes to excellant system fixes. I do agree with the fact that you have to take some initiative to isolate the location of a possible leak.Manytimes it is just a fitting that needs a gentle snugging to reseat a seal. I emphasize gentle because a 64th of a turn on a nutted connection is all most O-ringed connections can take. The compressor connection generally takes a minor re-torque to re-establish a tight and true seal. Steady as you go as to not compound breaches of seals.

Best thing to do is to take your S10 to a shop. They will fill it and put a dye in it. Then they will run the system and use an ultraviolet light to find the leak. Then advise you of the cost of repair.
