Just add 011 - before the 44

44 is the code for the UK. You need to dial your international access code first, which could be 00 like it is in other countries, not sure about that bit.
The number isn't a geographical number, it looks like a mobile or premium rate number.

The '44' is the international code for the UK. You must prefix it with whatever you do to access international dialing.
