8-12 particularly breastfed babies may stool at each feeding. This very quickly slows down to about 2-3 stools a day. And many breastfed babies start to stool only once ever 1-7 days around 3 months.

Mine went through 12-14 a day. I changed him at every feeding. I didn't like my newborn sitting in his waste. It's bad for their bottoms since their skin is so sensitive at first.

When my son was born I would change him 10 - 12 times a day. I would change him before I fed him. When I was done feeding him he would be sleeping so I never wanted to disturb him with having to change his diaper.

CHOCLATE HOLLYWOOD... Thats crap! In the daycare i work in babies are changed every 3 hours and will not be woken just for a nappy change, whats the point in disturbing them for that? U obviously havnt worked with babies much!!

There is no such law that babies need to be changed every two hours, they are only changed every three hours in my place because thats what the baby room supervisor suggests, nothing to do with law!!!!!
