Wow I havent taken psych in a while. Its a toss up betwen learning and brain development bc its the brain developing that helps the infant learn to anticipate the object. I would go with

B. BRAIN DEVELOPMENT

only because it deals with cognitive development and object permenance. it a critical stage in brain development.

babies are very smart, probably smarter than most people think until they have one. Our daughter was the same way she would do things that just amazed us and she still does they are great. So i choose B and D
