My periods are usually very regular. This past time, my breasts were sore almost 2 weeks before my unusally light period came (right on time). Like.. so light it was only pink when I wiped, nothing on my panyliner.. I stopped completely 2 times in the 4 days it was like this. I did pass blood clots twice during the whole thing. I just wrote it off as stress, but my breasts started hurting again, and my next period is not due for another 2 weeks. I'm not sure what to think. Any suggestions?

It is possible that you are pregnant, women often have "breakthrough bleeding" in the first few months of pregnancy. Do yourself a favor and take a test, it will put your mind at ease to know for sure. And yes, stress can cause unusual periods, and diet, and excercise.... pretty much anything can cause changes to your menses.... good luck, and hey, let us know!

really it could go either way. That was how i was when i found out i was pregnant (i am pregnant right now, and have been before) I had light spotting like that. A lot of women when they are pregnant will spot or have light bleeding around the time that their period would be due. But stress can also do that 2. I would say take a pregnancy test and then take one in a couple weeks again just to be sure. (if the first one is negative, other wise if it is positive go to your Dr.)

It is very possible. With the breast soreness, I would say more than likely you are pregnant. Go get a store test so you know for sure. Despite what that other poster said, they are VERY accurate. Every person that I have ever known to use one, myself included, has always gotten an accurate answer. Either way, you will want to call your ob/gyn. Either for a prenatal visit or to make sure there isn't anything wrong with you. Good luck.

First of all...have you had unprotected sex? I would seriously go to the doctor as there could be some other reason for the abnormality. Store pregnancy tests are not that accurate either.
Stress can be a factor..but I would go get checked out to be sure.

the same thing happened to me but it was just stress. I took tests that came out negative. You can take a test just in case but it is prolly just stress.
