I'll sign that petition.
We need a leader to send a message of hope and to deliver on our promises to the poor, the middle class, and our allies around the globe, instead of continuing the politics of fear, greed, partisanship, and war profiteering that we have right now.
Oh, and btw he admitted to authorizing warrantless wiretaps of American citizens in direct opposition to the FISA Law. That is a crime.
He and Cheney were both involved in outing Plame. That is treason.

Amazing how this grew from being an issue occurring in Vermont to suddenly being the whole nation in just a matter of hours. The propaganda bandwagon rolls on, much like the never ending, evidence lacking, never going to happen calls for impeachment in general. Call for impeachment all you like, but it is just useless rhetoric until someone actually presents real verifiable evidence that any crime has been committed. However, if daydreaming makes you feel better, more power to you.

There is only one problem with what you propose...actually, there is more than one!
First, in order to impeach a president, you need constitutional grounds. As the Dem controlled House is not making any moves in this direction, we must assume that they, along with any objective person, recognize that there are no legal or constitutional grounds to impeach Bush.
Second, assuming that you can get around the Constitution and get Articles of Impeachment through the House, you then have to have a trial in the Senate. And quite frankly, the Dem's don't have the votes to oust him. As we saw with the Clinton Process, impeachment without ouster is a waste of time and money.
Thirdly, you need to consider what precisely you are proposing. And that is that anytime a president's unfavorables exceed his favorable ratings in the polls, we will get rid of him. As every president in my memory has had unfavorables in excess of 50% at some point in their term...you are going to turn the White House into a revolving door. Are you certain that you want this kind of poll driven instability leading your country.
Finally, I take issue with your statement "cities and towns across America are passing resolutions..." Other than Vermont, what are the cities and towns across America? Do you have some credible sources to support this or is it simply more Bush Bashing fluff?

properly, I agree that Bushwhacker and acquaintances are a dastardly bunch and could all be "impeached" i don't agree that it somewhat is a surprising concept to tug out the troops and overlook what a foul existence we've given each and all the innocents in this conflict. We could substitute path and pay for our irresponsible acts and attempt to save the lives we've positioned in threat. the wear has been carried out and is as much as us to possess as much as our errors and artwork for the terrific we can do to save the lives of those innocents who have self assurance in a non violent Islam. I do have self assurance that Bush is an irresponsible guy and the different hoodlums could visit detention center, not basically for conceiving the yank human beings yet inflicting the death of this way of large form of innocents.

Clinton was impeached for lying about a *******! Bush lied about rationale to start a war! Clinton was impeached because the fascist congress did not like him. If this communist congress impeaches Bush, it will be because they don't like him and want revenge. Impeachment is the biggest waste of taxpayer dollars I've ever witnessed. Prove, prove, prove that he committed a crime and the commies might get it done. Until then, you can't impeach a president for doing a horrific job. There are less than two years to go before we can begin to heal the wounds inflicted by our government in the last 6 years. Just ride it out.

Small towns have no power to impeach any president. That is solely up to the House of Representatives. If Nancy Pelosi thinks it would be a bad idea to impeach Bush, it isn't going to happen. Dick Cheney might even be worse than Bush. He is probably the person who convinced Bush to invade Iraq in the first place along with Condy Rice.

Last I heard, it was 30 towns in Vermont! Still, the left-leaning media is strangely quiet about this blockbuster movement. Perhaps the small towns are just being stealthy.

Name the small towns. Vermont is not all across America. Yet again - PRESIDENT BUSH CAN NOT BE IMPEACHED - no crimes have been committed. Please - Please come up with a new angle this one is getting really old.
P.S. since liberals are so fond of calling the war in Iraq illegal - then why isn't there a petition to bring up charges on all of congress that voted for this war?

Because there are a lot of leftist idiots in Vermont, and or people on the banwagon that "Bush is evil", etc.
Bush may not be the best president (he has screwed up bad in my opinion) by not having enough troops to get the missions done right in Iraq, etc, but so are we ALL also guilty, in not been ready for this wars that has been brewing since the 90's!
When the US is now 17 out of the 22 industrialized countries in education and reasoning I am NOT surprised to see this happen.

I don't know why. They are wasting their time, because there is no legal reason to impeach Bush. I don't think it's in the country's best interest either.
