Actually cubic feet is what you need.

There are too many missing variables to give you a correct answer.
Variables such as:
What's to be heated? Greenhouse? House? apartment?
Ceiling conditions; room height, insulated/uninsulated attic, no attic.
Floor conditions, crawl space, basement, slab. Insulation?
Second or first floor?
Number of outside/exposed walls?
Insulation in Exposed walls?
Location of heating unit/number or rooms?
Distance from heating unit to all rooms needing to be heated. ex, Design of unit to be heated. Square, where heater can be placed in center of space, or rooms at the ends of long hallway.
