My internet in goes into a linksys wireless router. I have 3 computers connected onto that router and the last Ethernet port is connected to another linksys router. I can share stuff and print to my printer (That is connected to a computer on the first router) on the 3 computers that are connected to the first router, but I can't share files and print stuff on the other 4 computers..... Oh, I aslo can create another Microsoft on the computers that are connected to the second router, but I want to have all sf the computers on the same network. Any Ideas....?

Poster 'snvffy' is correct.

I assume you are connecting the WAN/Internet port of the second router into one of the LAN/ethernet ports of the first router. If possible, replace the second router with a plain hub or switch. You may need a cross-over ethernet cable to connect a plain hub or switch so you get link LEDs at both ends.

The second router hides the other four computers behind a single IP address. At best, you may be able to configure the second router to forward the required ports for Microsoft networking (TCP 445, and possibly TCP 135, along with TCP and UDP ports 137, 138, and 139) to one specific computer behind the second router. You'll never be able to connect to all the computers behind the second router.

You can test this by temporarily removing one of the four computers on the second router and connecting a LAN/ethernet port on the second router to a LAN/ethernet port on the first router. You may need a cross-over ethernet cable to get link LEDs on both end. The other poster is correct that you will need to disable the DHCP server on the second router if you wish to try this. This effectively makes the second router a 4-port switch, with one port used as the link to the first router.

If your second Linksys router is also a wireless router, check your documentation. Some Linksys wireless routers are quite flexible, and you may be able to use the wireless function to bridge the two routers together by a wireless connection.

I think you have to configure the subordinate router and deactivate the dhcp functions, maybe other stuff too. Contact the router's tech support to find out exactly what you need to do.
