A criminal and was threatening David. What kind of world have we made when we have the cure for an illiniess that we punish the cure.

Golaiths death was good thing and an act that may have to be repeated throw life as you meet more thiefs and criminals, plus if that person is dead they can not re-offend.

But what is weird is in today's soceity David would be punished, why is that?

I don't know what grounds you are using to say soldiers are punished for killing their enemies in combat. I think you are off base.

He probably wouldn't be punished for that. Goliath was an enemy combatant, he wasn't a criminal. He was just a big, mean Phillistine.
That thing with Bathsheba, that's a different matter. At a minimum, he's a stalker, and at worst he's a murderer for setting up the death of her husband. At the least he'd have to register as a sex offender.

So, who really was the criminal? Shoud David be eliminated? We'd lose all those Psalms. Maybe, just maybe Grace was meant for everybody.

Liberals would call for David to be put to death.

How dare he stop evil from taking over his land.

Liberals would deman senstivity training for all of Israel.

That people should like the bad guys win.

As they are now demanding in Iraq.
