Wii Play Level 6 - What sort of differences?!?

I'm having a stupid moment on Wii Play - level 6, "find the odd 2 mii's out". I can't work out on what criteria they are "different" as all the miis are different characters. I've only managed to get past the level by getting lucky randomly clicking on them all!! It seems rediculous but I just can't see the logic behind it.

I haven't gotten very far on this particular mini-game on Wii-play (at least not far enough to get a bronze medal (level15))
But in the first cases of "find the odd 2 mii's out" I noticed that all the miis would turn their heads to one direction (left or right) except for two of them which turn their heads to the opposite direction. I would select these two miis and they would turn out to be the odd miis.
Therefore :
( if 2_odd_miis: turn head left then rest of miis: turn their head right or vise versa.)


I'm not sure however if this condition changes or if more conditions are added as you get to higher levels when you must find the 2 odd mii's.

Wow, kudos to the first answer lol. I too have been having difficulty with "odd mii out", I have noticed though that if it asks for 2 odd mii's then one of them is one of my mii's, if it asks for 3 then two are mine. If that makes sense... The last one is just luck of the pick for me.
But I'm going to try and look more carefully now after reading the other answer.
