My twin died an infant. My mother said little or nothing about him that I can remember. She and my father are now dead. I have his birth certificate and nothing else. Surviving family members know nothing. I want to know how he died and what happened to his remains but I havent a clue where to begin.

Thanks to the contributors so far. All the replies are helpful. I should have added that this is 1943 in the UK. I know my brother spent some time at home. My sister can remember our father taking him to hospital and returning without him. That's all she knows.

If his name is on the birth certificate inquire by name. The birth certificate sometimes includes the attending doctors name. If you know the County where he died you can request a Coroners report from the coroner, this will usually include who took possession of his remains. If he died at home there will usually be a police report of a 911 or trouble call. If you know approximately when he died you might check the newspaper archives for a death notice. Inquire at funeral homes that were in business at the time of his death. Inquire at any cemetery he might be interred. If he had a social security number your state should have the date of his death. If the birth certificate lists his name as Baby Boy there is the possibility the hospital handled his remains. With patience you will find what you are looking for. Good Luck!

First find out the hospital you were born at! Then ask for the medical records department and request a copy of your medical birth records. Make friends with the person that gets the reports and explain your reason. Doing this might give you the edge you need to find your answers. Make sure you explain it's only personal desire for closer. Sometimes hospitals get weird about releasing records in fear of law suits. So, be careful in your approach.
There might be a fee for the records-so be prepared to fork out some $$
I pray you find the answer your seeking!

My first question would be do you have your original birth certificate or a duplicate. Do you know what hospital you was born in? Try and find out by the hospital if the parents named the baby and gave it a memorial. They would have to have done a death certificate if the baby was born with you. I would start at the hospital to find out information on the name of the baby. Then I would search death certificates on the name, with your birthdate and time.

Sweetie your a good and loving person. Now that both of your parents are gone you want to find out what had happened to your twins. I don't know what you folks told you but the only way you can find out was get the record to where the baby was buried, and maybe the hospital has a record for both of you.
Try to be more observant so that way you will go to the right direction,.....if you need more help,do let me know,Ill be here...

i'm particular no longer counting out any of the Hendricks drivers or Smoke for that remember. those are adult males who've been racing plenty longer than Kyle & in many situations they do no longer initiate making their pass till it gets right down to the Chase. seem on the consistency from Junior. he's held it interior the perfect 10 all season so some distance.( provide me the thumbs down...I stated Junior.) whilst push includes shove, the communities particularly initiate exhibiting their potential. there is particularly some the drivers who be attentive to it's time to knuckle down and get interior the Chase. authentic now i'm no longer counting everyone out. it particularly is coach time now! =o`)

Go to your county courthouse and you should be able to get all records. Which would be a death certificate and it should be listed on that what the cause of it was.
